2. When do these terms apply?
- These terms apply to every offer in the HobbyDeals web shop and to every contract you conclude with us through the web shop.
- This is version 2026-11 of the terms. At checkout you see which version applies to your order, and we record that version with your order.
- You can read, save and print these terms on this page before you order. On request we will email them to you free of charge.
- If you buy as a consumer, you always have at least the rights the law gives you. A provision that departs from those rights to your disadvantage does not apply.
- If you order for your business, these terms also apply. The rules that the law gives only to consumers, such as the right of withdrawal, then do not apply.
- If a provision of these terms is invalid, the other provisions remain in force.
- These terms are a translation of the Dutch terms. If the two differ, the Dutch text prevails.
3. Our offer
- The web shop shows the products with their main characteristics and their price.
- We make our products with a 3D printer. As a result, colour and surface may differ slightly from the photos. This does not affect your rights if a product does not conform to the contract (article 9).
- An offer is valid for as long as the product can be ordered in the web shop.
- An obvious mistake or error in the offer, such as a price that is clearly wrong, does not bind us.
4. How is the contract concluded?
- You can order with or without an account.
- You choose the products and enter your details and the delivery address. Before you order, you see an overview of the products, the shipping costs and the total amount. Until then you can still change everything.
- The contract is concluded when you click "Place order and pay". By doing so you accept an obligation to pay.
- You receive an email confirming your order.
- If you do not pay within 48 hours of ordering, we cancel the order and the contract lapses.
- We keep the details of your order. If you have an account, you can see your orders there.
5. Prices and shipping costs
All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are added to the price of the products. They depend on the country we deliver to:
- Netherlands: €6.95
- Belgium: €10.95
If you order products worth at least €75.00 (including VAT, after discount), shipping is free. You see the total amount before you order. The price at the moment you order applies to your order.
6. Payment
- You pay when you order, through Stripe, our payment service. The payment methods you can choose from are shown on the Stripe payment page.
- You pay the full amount when you order. As a consumer you cannot be required to pay more than half of the price in advance. If you want to pay less in advance, contact us at info@racktrace.io before you order; we will then agree together how you order and pay.
- You enter your card or account details with Stripe. They do not reach us.
- If the payment fails, you can pay again until we cancel the order (article 4).
- After your payment we issue an invoice.
7. Delivery
- We deliver in the Netherlands and Belgium, to the address you give with your order.
- We ship your order as soon as possible after your payment has been received. Unless we have agreed a different delivery time with you, we deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest.
- If we cannot deliver on time, we let you know. You can then give us a reasonable additional period. If we do not deliver within that period either, you may terminate the contract free of charge, and we refund you as soon as possible.
- As soon as we ship your order, you receive an email with the tracking code.
- The risk of loss or damage passes to you as soon as you, or someone you have designated for that purpose, have received the product.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason. You can do so with the "Withdraw from contract here" button, at the bottom of every page of the web shop and in your account with every order. The cost of returning the product is then yours, unless the product does not conform to the contract. How to withdraw, when you get your money back and the model withdrawal form are on our Returns page.
9. Conformity and legal guarantee
- You are entitled to a product that conforms to the contract: it has the properties you could expect on the basis of the contract, including for normal use. This is the legal guarantee. It always applies, in addition to any extra guarantee. The European notice on the legal guarantee is on our website.
- If the product does not conform to the contract, you can choose repair or replacement, free of charge. If that is not possible, or not within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or you can terminate the contract.
- If you notice a defect within one year of delivery (within two years in Belgium), it is presumed to have been present at delivery, unless we prove otherwise.
- In the Netherlands the legal guarantee applies for as long as you may expect the product to last with normal use. In Belgium it applies for at least two years after delivery.
- Damage caused by a fall, by incorrect use or by use for which the product is not intended is not covered by the legal guarantee.
- The cost of returning a product that does not conform to the contract is ours.
10. Complaints
- If you have a complaint, email it to info@racktrace.io, with your order number, a description and, if possible, a photo.
- Report a defect in good time after you discover it. Within two months is always in time.
- We confirm receipt of your complaint and give a substantive answer within 14 days. If we need more time, we tell you within those 14 days when you will receive an answer.
11. Applicable law and disputes
- These terms and every contract with us are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, for example Belgium, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your own country.
- If we cannot resolve a dispute together, you can bring it before the competent court. As a consumer you may also go to the court of the place where you live.
- If you live in Belgium, you can also get help with a dispute with a web shop in another EU country from the European Consumer Centre Belgium (ECC Belgium).
